Walking into the Golden Chicken for the first time was a really nice experience. Two young men and a young lady greeted us with politeness. They were extremely busy yet still greeted us and acknowledged. I like that great customer service. We looked over in the wall to see a variety types of foods not only chicken. While looking over the menu we decided to get the Toms wow special. Read all the hype on yelp reviews, I was surprised to see how delicious this place was. If your looking for a fried chicken fix try the golden chicken out. Great sides were offered in this special for 10 pieces of chicken, slaw, fries and we got the fried mushrooms yummy! All worth the $20. Recommended? Yes I highly recommend stopping by. Lots of left overs and can't wait to have my cold fried chicken later! 5 stars from me!

My husband & I decided to order a 16-pm chicken meal which included buns, French fries & coleslaw. We each ate two pieces and some fries. I was sick all night and the next day. I thought nothing of it until a couple of days later when we had it again for leftovers. Big my husband & I were in the bathroom the rest of the night. Will not be ordering from here again.

I'm hooked, plain and simple. The chicken is the best to be had and I've been around the country many times. They keep this place so clean you notice ad the service is outstanding. I pickup, so I can't comment on delivery. I just know when I really want a chicken fix we call them and the family is so agreeable because they have their favorites here too.

There's a guy named Todd that works there as a delivery driver. Drives a Civic or something like that. Hes not a dick, here's five stars.

My experience here was awful! We ordered delivery and the order was completely not what we expected. First off, the "jumbo" shrimp meal was 15 pieces, fries, and coleslaw for 18.99 on special. You would assume at this price you would get some decent pieces. They looked like the kind that you buy at walmart for 8 bucks in the freezer section, served with kraft cocktail sauce. The buffalo sauce they served with the chicken was franks red hot, but at least they put that in a Dixie cup. The fries were overcooked and the double cheeseburger comes plain no lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle, ketchup, or mustard. We got shrimp, fries, double cheeseburger, chicken nuggets (not tenders), coleslaw delivered at a total of 40 dollars!!

Great family run restaurant, with great fried chicken. They also have fried lake perch that is incredible, and more importantly, the most important reason to order from them (not that the chicken and fish aren't reason enough) the coleslaw is to die for!

Because of service! Rude staff ! And they eat off the basket of Fries/ tater tots ! Young man in there acts you owe it to him your bringing in your business ! He picked up a call for some pick up orders and blatantly he was laughing at the customers name was! With the other girl cooking the fries/tots who was also eating straight from the basket while prepping other take out orders !

Ordered a 10 piece bucket of fish with tater tots and an order of mini chicken tacos last night. When pulling the stuff out of the bag, they stapled the wrong sides of the bag on both the tacos and tater tots so it spilled out all over the floor. Was expecting a decent piece of fish but pieces were basically a bigger version of fish sticks. For $28.00, I cannot believe the garage you get. The coleslaw was decent but other than that, over half of of food went in the garbage. We will never order from there again.

This is a take out restaurant only. Fried chicken is their speciality, but if you want, almost anything fried, I have a hunch that it is on the menu. This appears to be a family run business, because it looked like Mom was at the fryers and her son was battering fresh chicken in the back, and her daughter was working the front counter. There is a cloud of fried chicken smell as you open the door. MMMhmmm! Cheap and fast eats. I love this place!

Golden Chicken is on my list of "Go To" delivery places when I don't feel like cooking or going out to eat. Tom's WOW Special is a really good Deal. Ten pieces of Chicken, one lb. of fries or Tater Tots (I love their Tots!), a half pint of Slaw and one side for $17.99! It feeds me for days. Their Perch dinner is great alternative to fighting the Friday Fish Fry Frenzy that makes Milwaukee famous.

LOVE Golden Chicken and they have my favorite "crinkle" fries! Do not go here without a coupon! They are always available in the val-pak, newspaper inserts, on their website, etc. They also have great perch!
